An English-speaking private driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, as long as the hotel is within the Fourth Ring Road in Beijing. If your hotel is outside the Fourth Ring Road, or if you need to be picked up at the train station or airport, the guide can still meet you up, but there will be an additional charge.

Set off at your own pace in the morning, no longer limited by a fixed schedule, enjoy the beautiful scenery and capture captivating moments during this self-guid trip.

After arriving at the Jinshanling Great Wall, the driver will not accompany you up the Great Wall but will wait for you at the base and can assist with tickets (at your own expense).

Tourist Routes:

Ticket Gate → Brick Stack Gate → Shaling Gate → Ticket Gate (3 km loop). This route offers visitors the chance to see some of the most distinctive features of the Jinshanling Great Wall, including barrier walls, horse blocking walls, support walls, and several well-preserved beacon towers. Along this route, you can also capture stunning photos at the same iconic angle as the "Jinshanling Morning Light", a famous view depicted in the Hebei Hall of the Great Hall of the People. The Jinshanling section of the Great Wall is renowned for its scenic beauty, less crowded atmosphere, and excellent hiking opportunities, making it a favorite among those seeking a more peaceful and authentic experience of the Great Wall of China.

2. In the self-guid trip, the driver will not accompany you up the Great Wall. The tickets are not included, while the driver can assist you in purchasing tickets, and the tickets fee will be at your own expense.

4. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as some parts of the tour involve moderate walking.
