1. Payment

Deposit & Final Payment

A deposit equal to 10% of the total tour cost is required upon booking. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure for your China tour. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

By providing your deposit or final payment, you and your travel agent (if applicable) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions form the foundation of the contractual agreement between Le Joy (Beijing) International Travel Co., Ltd. (Business Certificate Number: L-BJ03182) and its clients. It is crucial that clients carefully review and accept these Terms and Conditions, as well as related quotations, itineraries, and communications from our travel advisors.

Methods of Payment

We currently offer the following payment methods: 

▪ Secure online payment via PayPal using Visa or MasterCard.

▪ Credit card.

▪ Payment via WeChat or Alipay.

▪ Cash payment.

If our credit card processor flags a transaction as potentially fraudulent, we will require additional confirmation before processing. If the booking is urgent and confirmation cannot be obtained in time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund the cardholder for their protection as well as ours.

Exchange Rate Disclaimer

(For credit card payments only)

Leo Private Tour charges your credit card in Chinese currency (CNY). Your bank or credit card company will convert the amount into your account's currency.

We quote prices based on an exchange rate of CN¥723 = USD$100. However, the actual exchange rate applied may differ depending on your credit card provider’s rates at the time of the transaction. Banks may also charge additional fees for currency conversion. As a result, the amount on your bank statement may vary slightly from our quotation.

Note: Before making payment, please check your bank’s exchange rate and transaction fee policy.

Leo Private Tour lists prices in US Dollars on our website as a guide. Final quotations and payments are made in CNY.

1). If the Chinese Renminbi is revalued, we will honor all quotations for fully paid tours.

2). Customers with unpaid balances at the time of revaluation must cover the difference between the old and new prices, calculated in Renminbi.

2. Cancellation Refunds

We regret cancellations but understand that circumstances may arise. Refunds are calculated as follows (unless otherwise specified by your travel advisor):

▪ Cancellations received 22 days or more before departure: 100% refund.

▪ Cancellations received 15-21 days before departure: 70% refund.

▪ Cancellations received 8-14 days before departure: 50% refund.

▪ Cancellations received 7 days or less before departure: No refund.

▪ No-show travelers are charged 100% of the payment.

Refunds for unused services after the trip begins, due to early departure, late arrival, or personal choices, are not available.

Special Notes: For groups of over 10 people, cancellation policies may vary. Please consult your travel advisor.

3. Itinerary Changes

Pre-booking changes are free of charge. After the deposit is paid, changes incur a $25.00 fee per request. Any third-party fees (e.g., for cruises, airlines, hotels) will be passed on to the customer.

4. Travel Documentation

Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and permits. While we may assist upon request, Leo Private Tour accepts no liability for missing or incorrect documentation.

5. Health Requirements

Clients are responsible for understanding and meeting all health and vaccination requirements. Travel to high-altitude regions, such as Tibet, may require a doctor’s certificate of fitness.

6. Luggage Allowance

China’s Civil Aviation Administration regulations allow:

▪ Economy Class: 20kg

▪ Business Class: 30kg

▪ First Class: 40kg

Excess baggage fees are the client’s responsibility. Suitcases must have locking devices to avoid loading issues.

7. Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential risks such as accidents, natural disasters, illnesses, and theft. Leo Private Tour is not liable for losses or damages caused by such events.

8. Service Interruptions

Leo Private Tour is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances, including IT issues, power failures, natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

9. User-Generated Content

User-submitted photos or comments on our website reflect personal opinions, not Leo Private Tour's endorsement.

10. Infringement Notices

If any individual or organization believes content on our website infringes their rights, they must submit a formal notice with proof of ownership and identity. We will promptly address valid claims.

11. Pricing Adjustments

Failure to complete payment within the stipulated time may result in price changes. Leo Private Tour is not responsible for payment delays caused by network issues.

12. Policy Updates

Leo Private Tour may update these terms due to legal, policy, or service changes. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updates.

13. Complaints and Claims

If dissatisfied, notify your travel advisor or customer care immediately to resolve issues. Claims must be submitted within 15 days of the tour's end, including supporting documentation.

14. Communication

If you do not receive a response from us within 48 hours of submitting a request, please contact us directly via email or phone.

15. Liability & Responsibility

Leo Private Tour acts as an intermediary for service providers and is not liable for errors, omissions, or issues beyond our control. Activities are undertaken at the client’s own risk.

16. Behavioral Expectations

Leo Private Tour reserves the right to modify or terminate services if clients act unlawfully or offensively toward staff. Offensive behavior includes obscene, discriminatory, or inappropriate conduct.
