Your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby as long as the hotel is located within downtown Shanghai. If your hotel is outside this area, or if you need to be picked up at the train station or airport, the guide can still meet you up, but there will be an additional charge.

The Bund

Meet your private guide at your centrally located Shanghai hotel at your preferred time. Let your guide know if there’s anything you’d like to see more of during your tour; the itinerary is flexible and can be fully customized to your interests. Below is a sample itinerary, but you’re welcome to discuss adjustments with your guide to create your ideal Shanghai tour. Typically, you’ll visit The Bund, a historic riverside promenade along the Huangpu River. Here, you can take in stunning views of old and modern Shanghai, including landmarks like the Bund’s Old Customs House and iconic skyscrapers.

Yu Garden 

Afterward, explore the 500-year-old Yu Garden, a classic Chinese garden filled with beautiful pavilions, ponds, and lush greenery. Admire the traditional Qing-Dynasty architecture of the Old Town Bazaar, and enjoy a stroll across the lucky ‘Nine Zigzag’ Bridge. Take in the serene ambiance of ancient pavilions and scenic landscapes. For those interested, the bazaar offers a fun shopping experience with souvenirs like handcrafted items, antiques, jade, pearls, silk, and other local goods. There’s no need to buy tickets for Shanghai Tower in advance, as sometimes there are too many people lining up on the day. If you’d like to visit, you can buy tickets on the spot (your tour guide will help you). If you decide not to visit Shanghai Tower, the Jinmao Tower can be a good alternative.
