After booking with your passport name and number (for all participants), you can directly access the Forbidden City by passing through the security check and showing your passport at the main entrance, the Meridian Gate. Enjoy a hassle-free entry without the need to collect physical tickets.
Forbidden City Schedule:
• Peak Season: April 1st to October 31st (Tuesday to Sunday) - Last entry is at 16:00
• Low Season: November 1st to March 31st (Tuesday to Sunday) - Last entry is at 15:30

1. Hall of Supreme Harmony (Taihe Dian)
The largest and most important hall in the Forbidden City, the Hall of Supreme Harmony was used for major state ceremonies such as the emperor's enthronement, weddings, and the Chinese New Year celebrations. It sits at the heart of the outer court and symbolizes the emperor's power and authority.
2. Hall of Central Harmony (Zhonghe Dian)
This hall is located between the Hall of Supreme Harmony and the Hall of Preserving Harmony. It was a space where the emperor would rest and prepare before official ceremonies. The hall is much smaller but represents the balance and tranquility that the emperor sought to achieve.
3. Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohe Dian)
This hall was used for imperial banquets and later, for the final stage of the imperial examination, a critical test for selecting government officials. It is the third of the three main halls in the outer court.
4. Palace of Heavenly Purity (Qianqing Gong)
Located in the inner court, this palace served as the living quarters for emperors. It was here that they handled daily affairs of state and held private meetings with ministers.
5. Hall of Union (Jiaotai Dian)
Situated between the Palace of Heavenly Purity and the Palace of Earthly Tranquility, this hall was used for important imperial events, particularly those related to the empress. The hall represents the union of heaven and earth.
6. Palace of Earthly Tranquility (Kunning Gong)
This palace was the residence of the empress and was used for rituals related to marriage and other significant ceremonies in the imperial family.

5. Passport is required for travelers on the day of travel for direct entry.
6. Please ensure all travelers’ passport number and full name (must match your passport) are provided and accurate. Otherwise, you won’t be able to access to the attraction.
7. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
8. If a child's height is over 1.2 meters (3'9”), please purchase a Youth Ticket when booking (children under 1.2 meters can enter for free). Please ensure you adhere to this height requirement when making your reservation.
