May 19, 2025, marks the 15th "China Tourism Day." According to data released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during this year’s May Day holiday, domestic trips in China reached 314 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%, while total tourism spending hit 180.269 billion yuan, up 8.0% from the previous year. "Vibrant, orderly, open, and shared" became the keywords of the holiday. Driven by multiple favorable policies, a surge in cultural and tourism consumption has emerged, reflecting the dynamism of a thriving China through its mobile population.

This year’s "5·19 China Tourism Day" campaign carries the theme "Splendid Land, Beautiful Journeys" (锦绣山河，美好旅程), with the themed month running until May 31.
