Calligraphy
This 5-hour private tour offers an immersive introduction to two traditional Chinese arts: calligraphy and theatrical masks making. An experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals, giving you hands-on practice with real calligraphy brushes and ink.
Theatrical masks making
Painting Beijing Opera masks is a representative of the long-standing Chinese culture. Beijing Opera has a history of more than a hundred years in China, and is the national quintessence of China. Painting Beijing Opera masks is the finishing touch of Beijing Opera. In the masks, different colors and patterns represent different character traits of Beijing Opera actor roles.
