Your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby as long as the hotel is within the Fourth Ring Road in Beijing. If your hotel is outside the Fourth Ring Road, or if you need to be picked up at the train station or airport, the guide can still meet you up, but there will be an additional charge.

Calligraphy

This 4.5-hour private tour offers an immersive introduction to two traditional Chinese arts: calligraphy and cooking. Begin with a 1.5-hour calligraphy class in the historic Hutong district, where you'll learn the essential brush strokes and techniques used in Chinese writing. An experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals, giving you hands-on practice with real calligraphy brushes and ink.

Dumpling Cooking

Afterward, you’ll be welcomed into a local family’s home, where you’ll learn the art of making traditional Chinese dumplings. Under the watchful eye of your host, you'll mix fillings, fold dumpling wrappers, and cook them to perfection. Finally, enjoy the fruits of your labor by sitting down to a delicious homemade meal.
