Your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby as long as the hotel is located within the vicinity of Xi'an's Second Ring Road. If your hotel is outside this area, or if you need to be picked up at the train station or airport, the guide can still meet you up, but there will be an additional charge.

Day 1:  Terracotta Warriors – Xi’an Ancient City Wall – Great Mosque – Muslim Quarter

Terracotta Warriors (Morning): In the morning, head to Lintong to visit the world-famous Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses, where you can discover the grandeur of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang. The tour lasts about 3 hours.

Xi'an Ancient City Wall (Afternoon): Return to the city to explore the well-preserved Ming Dynasty City Wall. You can walk or rent a bike to ride along the wall and enjoy panoramic views of Xi'an.

Great Mosque: Visit the Great Mosque, one of the oldest and most famous Islamic structures in China, combining Chinese and Islamic architectural styles.

Muslim Quarter: In the evening, explore the Muslim Quarter, where you can taste local Muslim street food such as lamb skewers, roujiamo (meat sandwiches), and noodles etc...

Optional: Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show in the evening

If you would like to watch the show, we can assist with purchasing tickets (at your own expense).

This excursion combines two fantastic elements in one tour: an entertaining show and a dumpling banquet to indulge all your senses. The dumpling banquet starts around 6:00 pm, followed by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show at 7:30 pm. Please enter by 7:00 pm for a smooth start.

Day 2:  Big Wild Goose Pagoda – Yaodong (historical cave dwellings)

Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Visit the iconic landmark to explore Xi'an’s history and Buddhist influence.

Yaodong (窑洞): Outside the world of ancient relics lies another underground treasure: the Yaodong (窰洞). A type of dwelling little known outside of China, they are particularly common in Shaanxi due to the number of loess hills in the region and a natural lack of other building materials.
