Your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby as long as the hotel is located within downtown Shangri-La. If your hotel is outside this area, or if you need to be picked up at the train station or airport, the guide can still meet you up, but there will be an additional charge.

Day 1: Songzanlin Monastery-Pudacuo National Park

Songzanlin Monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan Province. The culture of Shangri-La is based on Tibetan culture, and Tibetan Buddhism is the core of Tibetan culture. Only at Songzanlin can one fully experience the mysticism of Tibetan Buddhism and the charm of Tibetan culture.

Pu Dacuo National Park is the first national park in mainland China. 'Pu Dacuo' in Tibetan means 'to liberate all beings, reaching the other shore of the sea of suffering.' It is a fairy-tale world free from any pollution, and the best sanctuary for experiencing nature, getting close to nature, and cleansing the soul.

Day 2: Nixi Tibetan Village-Napa Lake-Dukezong Ancient Town

Nixi, meaning 'the place where the sun rises' in Tibetan, is a Tibetan village in Shangri-La County.

Napa Lake: It is not a sea, but a seasonal plateau lake, home to the largest grassland in Shangri-La, tranquil lakes, majestic mountains, and herds of horses and lambs. You can also try horseback riding on the grassland, offering a unique experience.

Dukezong Ancient Town in Shangri-La is the largest Tibetan residential area in China and one of the best-preserved ancient towns, located in Yunnan Province. It serves as a key hub of the Ancient Tea Horse Road and boasts over a thousand years of history with rich Tibetan cultural heritage. The town's architecture is built along the mountain contours, forming an eight-petaled lotus shape, symbolizing the legendary Moonlight City.
