Day 1 Huangyaguan Great Wall-Eastern Royal Tombs of the Qing Dynasty

Huangyaguan Great Wall

Your guide will pick you up at Tianjin Cruise Port and drive you by private vehicle for approximately 2.5 hours to the Huangyaguan Great Wall. Along the way, your guide will provide a history lesson about both the Great Wall and the Eastern Qing Tombs, so feel free to ask any questions about these two UNESCO sites! Once you arrive at Huangyaguan Great Wall, you can enjoy a less hurried and less crowded hike along the Wall, spending about 1.5 hours exploring this magnificent structure.

Eastern Royal Tombs of the Qing Dynasty

Then you will head to the Eastern Qing Tombs, stopping along the way at a local village for a delicious Chinese lunch (at your own expense). The Eastern Qing Tombs are an imperial mausoleum complex of the Qing dynasty, renowned as the largest, most complete, and best-preserved mausoleum complex in China. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the final resting place for five emperors, 15 empresses, 136 imperial concubines, three princes, and two princesses of the Qing dynasty. Spend about two hours exploring the Eastern Qing Tombs, where you can admire the stunning architecture and rich history, before being transferred back to your hotel in Tianjin (at your own expense).

Day 2 Five Great Avenues-Porcelain House-Ancient Culture Street-Italian Style Street-Ferris wheel, Eye of Tianjin

Five Great Avenues

Your tour guide will pick you up from your Tianjin City hotel or accommodation at 9:00 AM. Since this day's itinerary can be adjusted flexibly according to your interests, feel free to discuss it with your guide upon meeting. Typically, you will first visit the Five Great Avenues. You can either take a carriage ride (at your own expense) or walk along the streets to see over 2,000 beautiful examples of Italian, German, French, Spanish, and British architecture, mixed in with old Chinese villas that showcase the modern history of China.

Porcelain House

Continue to the Porcelain House. It is a private museum decorated with about 400 million pieces of ancient Chinese ceramic chips and over 13,000 ancient Chinese porcelain vases, plates and bowls.

Ancient Culture Street

Then explore the Tianjin Ancient Culture Street, where you can enjoy the special architectural styles, take folk crafts, and taste the delicious local snacks.
