DAY 1: Shanghai Arrival

Your private guide will warmly welcome you at the arrival hall in Shanghai. An experienced driver and a comfortable private car will take you straight to your hotel, where your guide will assist with the check-in process.

DAY 2: Shanghai | The Bund-Yuyuan Garden

Take in the allure of the Huangpu River with a leisurely stroll along The Bund, a 1.5-kilometer embankment renowned for its charm. DAY 4: Beijing | The Forbidden City-Mutianyu Great Wall

DAY 5: Beijing to Xi'an | The Ancient City Wall-Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Discover the ancient city fortifications, dating back to the 13th century, which remain impressively well-preserved. The walls, ramparts, gates, and watchtowers encircle the city center, offering a captivating glimpse into history. You can choose to stroll leisurely along the walls or add excitement to your visit by renting a bike (CNY40 per person) or an electric cart (CNY80 per person) to complete the 14-kilometer circuit. Regardless of how you explore, you'll be treated to stunning views of the city from both sides.

Experience the tranquility of this significant Buddhist site within the peaceful grounds of Da Ci'en Temple. Built in the 7th century, the Pagoda features a simple yet graceful brick design and was created to store Buddhist scriptures and relics brought back from India by the famous monk Xuanzang (Tripitaka). DAY 6: Xi'an | The Terracotta Warriors

DAY 8: Guilin to Longsheng | Reed Flute Cave-Longji Rice Terraced Field

Located 5 kilometers northwest of Guilin, the Reed Flute Cave stands as the city’s largest and most awe-inspiring cave. Stretching 240 meters in length, visitors can explore approximately 550 meters of this enchanting underground realm adorned with dazzling stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and curtains. Longjing Village is a charming tea-growing village where nearly every household cultivates tea trees. In summer, it’s wise to bring mosquito repellent. As you head uphill, you’ll pass the “Ten Mile Langdang” archway, marking the start of the tea mountain trails. The path is lined with neatly arranged tea bushes that stretch across the slopes in terraced rows. DAY 11: Huangshan | Hongcun Village

DAY 12: Huangshan | The Yellow Mountain

Embark on a captivating journey through the Yellow Mountains in Anhui Province, often referred to as 'the most beautiful mountain in China.' Admire the striking granite peaks, distinctive rock formations, hot springs, and waterfalls that cover over 1,200 square kilometers. Your private tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation and a one-hour drive to the South Gate of the Huangshan Scenic Area. Please note that some attractions may be closed from December to March due to snow.

DAY 13: Huangshan to Suzhou | North Sea and Yungu Cable Car

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, set off on a scenic walk to Lion Peak. As you traverse the North Sea area, be amazed by the enchanting Dawn Pavilion, the Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and the unique shapes of the towering pine trees.

For sweeping views, make your way to Beginning-to-Believe Peak and take in the breathtaking sight of the Mushroom Pavilion. End your exploration of the Yellow Mountains with a memorable ride on the Yungu Cable Car.

DAY 14: Suzhou | Lingering Garden-Grand Canal-Shantang Street

Uncover the allure of Suzhou, famous for its stunning gardens. Start your exploration at the enchanting Lingering Garden, a true work of architectural and artistic brilliance. This intricate garden is designed to be experienced gradually, with a sequence of thoughtfully landscaped areas, each symbolizing a different season. The Grand Canal in Suzhou is one of the longest and most impressive canals in China, stretching nearly 1,500 kilometers. With its extensive network of waterways and beautiful surroundings, it is a vital part of Suzhou’s cultural heritage and historical landmarks. The canal complements the city's gardens, ancient city walls, and ancestral halls, offering a picturesque view of the region’s water town culture. Visitors can explore the canal by foot, bike, or boat, immersing themselves in the charm of the ancient city and its scenic waterway.

There is a Chinese saying, "above, there is heaven; below, there is Suzhou and Hangzhou", referring to the legendary beauty of this region. And the next sentence is: "Hangzhou has the West Lake, and Suzhou has Shantang."

Shantang Street, named after the Shantang River, is a historic and vibrant street in Suzhou. Spanning about seven kilometers, it runs from Changmen in the east to Tiger Hill in the west, forming an important axis of the ancient city. A leisurely stroll along the riverbank feels like stepping back in time, with every corner steeped in centuries of history.

DAY 15: Suzhou to Shanghai Departure

Our guide will assist you with your transfer from the hotel to Shanghai Pudong Airport, providing transportation in a private car/van along with personal guidance for a smooth departure.
